Lucy Richardson is Senior Lecturer at London Metropolitan University, Course Team Leader for Performing Arts and Director of The Facility: Centre for Performance as Research.
Lucy has worked extensively as an actress in England, Wales and throughout Europe. Notably she created and performed the role of Hilary in The Woman Who Cooked Her Husband by Debbie Isitt, performed as part of the International Mime Festival at the ICA, and played a dog in a multi-media production of One Hundred and One Dalmatians!
Her directing work includes directing Alison Steadman and Daisy Donovan in the West End and Ricky Tomlinson on film. More recently she has created large scale site specific performances in South Africa, Lesotho, South America and India with Project Phakama/The London International Festival of Theatre.
This is the 5th graduating production that Lucy has directed for London Met.
