Gothic Lecture
Just to let you all know that the Gothic lecture this Tuesday morning is looking at Freuds essay on the Uncanny and Julia Kristeva introduction to Powers of Horror on the abject. It is basically looking a theories of death and would be useful for anyone writing on Gothic or on Vampire or on death in general.
It is from 10 - 1 in Belwood Road. I can't get on e mail for some reason tonight so can't give you the room yet but wanted to give you time to think about it. I recommend the teacher and think it might be useful for your essay. If you can do the reading before that woud be great but you can go anyway. Lucy
